Projects :: PETA

PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) fights for the rights of animals. The members have protested against the use of fur, treatment of chickens from Kentucky Fried Chicken, and more. Usually, the protests feature women naked or barely clothed.

Critics of PETA such as Penn & Teller point out the hypocrisy of the organization. In order to gain an understanding of the work that PETA does, it's important to hear from all sides.

Penn & Teller Exposes PETA's Hypocrisy

In their research of PETA, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, Penn & Teller exposes the hypocrisy of the organization. The organization was connected to firebombing of an animal research lab. They kill animals while condemning others who do. In this lengthy, 10:37 min video, Penn & Teller illustrate their point using PETA footage and interviews with former PETA members. The impetus for the video seems to be that PETA opposes the use of animal research to save human lives calling animal research unscientific. Most medical progress and research would stop, if people could not use animals in research. Watch them watch their point against PETA.
