Militancy :: Celebrating Woman Warriors

Females with guns is an empowering image. As more females volunteer for the armed forces, they have opportunities to prove themselves and protect their countries. The battlefield is a leveling ground. They fight beside the men and risk sacrificing just as much. We celebrate them as woman warriors. We honor them for their leadership, for risking their lives so that we can live in peace, so that we can have the space to breathe, to think, to create.

Celebrating Women in the Armed Forces

In recent years, more women served in the armed forces in significant ways. Females fight and defend against the enemy alongside male colleagues. Women are no longer just the nurses tending to the injured and sick. Let's celebrate their strength and courage. Their military training strengthens them as individuals, but more importantly, illustrates women's ability to protect themselves in a militant and aggressive way. With the right training they are on equal grounds with men. They show us that females do not necessarily need men to protect us.

Militancy is an attitude.
