Militancy : Battle Grounds
The battle ground is where the war is fought, where the destruction and death occurs. With the media following the troops around, we get to witness the battles, suffering and death as they happen. These are footage of war that shows us our war efforts. It's not possible to get the full story but we get a glimpse into the daily struggles of our troops.
Battle on Haifa Street, Baghdad, Iraq
On January 24, 2007, Operation Tomahawk Strike 11, disrupted illegal militia activity on Baghdad's Haifa Street, Iraq. American infantry and snipers from the 3rd Stryker Brigade teamed up with Iraqi soldiers to shoot at the targets. They identify their targets, discuss their strategy and shoot. Gun shots are loud as we watch the battle from their point of view.
