Whether you are Hillary fan or not, she represents an important possibility for women to preside over the nation and excel in roles of leadership. More important than choosing Clinton's campaign song is to remember to vote. We need to support women in power so that more women can get in power.

This video explores the masks we put on everyday before we venture out to face the world. Often, the masks protects us, shields our real selves, and allows us to remake ourselves.

Rikke Hansen from Career Concierge talks about the strategies and steps to take when asking for a raise. She said to keep the negotiation professional. Focus on achievements and determine the right time to ask for the raise. Be realistic about the pay increase. Research the market rate for similar positions. Be flexible above all. Depending to be pay our worth is one of the more important skills to acquire, especially as females who are traditionally paid less than their male counterparts. We need to know our worth and not sell ourselves short.
Silent Beats
Directed by Jon M. Chu, a student at USC, this short film won the Princess Grace Award. It stars a young black man, an Asian cashier, an white old lady shopper. Their pre-conceptions of each other play out at the store where the young biked to buy some water, bandages, and an apple. Their interactions were affected by their assumptions about each other. The atmosphere is tense as they become hyper aware of each other. It is an interesting study of race relations.
FAT: What No One Is Telling You
In an excerpt from a PBS show, one woman talks about her relationship to her mother and her weight. She realizes it's about taking control over what she puts in her mouth. She stresses how important physical appearance is in attracting a potential partner. One day she found herself sitting at the park alone crying, feeling sorry for herself that she is alone on a Friday night, that people don't like her because she is fat. They are not going to get beyond her fatness to get to know her. It's true that people can be that shallow. But beyond the physical appearance, the more important issue is health. Fatness does not lead to good health.
Tiffany Lynn: Weighs, Measures, and EATS!!
Tiffany Lynn, wearing nothing more than her underwear, measures her body, weighs herself, and eats three cheeseburgers, a large fry, two shakes and a pint of ice cream while we watch. She can eat! She weighed and measured herself before she ate and after the big meal. She illustrates the saying, "We are what we eat."

Surreal and robotic, a created extension protudes from a metal chest responding to images on a television set. With its multiple arm-like structures, it reaches out seeking fulfillment for her desires. Andy Huang succeeds in his creation as at the end his digital robotic creation made us feel something.
Marriage and Prostitution
One woman breaks down marriage and prostitution to be about the same thing - a sexual exchange. They are just different forms of payment. Are we not all prostitutes in one way or another? When we put a value on our youth, beauty, body and enlightening conversation, we are involve in prostitution. Some of us charge more than others. Some of us are more honest about the exchange. It comes down to achieving that sense of power and financial stability.
