Cute, fuzzy, and noisy, these hamsters were all the rage this past holiday season. One girl shows off her collection of five Zhu Zhu pets which she houses in a flower shop building. Living in the cardboard building are Jilly, Soodles, Pipsqueek, Winkie, and Num Nums. She received them for Christmas and her birthday. She sounds as adorable as her pets. Celebrate girlhood.

Selena Gomez messed around with her family, singing Vanessa Carlton's "A Thousand Miles" in this black and white video. They were all having a great time, so youthful and joyous.
Godiva chocolates are my favorite too. Hotforwords went into the origin of the peeping tom and linked it to Lady Godiva riding naked on a horse to lower the taxes for the people. She requested that everyone locked themselves indoors as she rode through the town so that she could maintain her dignity. One man, the peeping tom, looked through the blinds and saw her naked. Interesting trivia. Godiva chocolates just became that much sexier. Yummy!

WarCraft III, Unreal Tournament, Counter-Strike. If you are a gamer or hang out with people who are obsessed about video games, you are probably familiar with these titles. I am a recovering gamer, so I know all about the hazards of spending too much time playing online. For those who have mastered the different games, they can show off their talents and skills at the World Cyber Games 2004 which is held in San Francisco from October 6-10.
Gaming has done a lot for me. I have learned important lessons from competing with guys online who are either half my age or much older. Some of the online gamers I play with, I would probably not feel comfortable hanging out with in real life. But that's the advantage of playing online. I don't have to deal with their personalities and as long as I don't turn my online experiences into real life, it's very safe. I find the males I play with often do not know I am a female, and they compete against me like another male.
It's man against man, so they think. It's all competition and they talk to me like I am one of the guys. It's like penetrating a secret society that you are not supposed to be in, and seeing what's it like from the inside. It's refreshing for me, because for once in my life, I am treated like one of the guys. Life is simpler and more straight forward. The focus is on the game and not anything else. There's no sexual remarks, no come-ons. Cyber gaming has given me a deeper understanding of battle and war, of male to male interaction and comaraderie, of fighting to win. Let the games begin!
